For some of you, tomorrow is your first exam: GCSE Psychology. Feeling a bit nervous is normal, but you’ve absolutely got this. Here are three smart, low-key things to do tonight that will ease the nerves before the exam.
🎯 1. Watch Our Predicted Questions Video
Start by watching this quick Predicted Paper Walkthrough:

We walk through likely question types and topics, and if there’s anything on the video that’s not ringing any bells, that’s your cue to go revise that particular area. You’ll go in knowing what may come up and how to tackle it.
Of course, check the spec too on your exam board’s website, for a last minute read-through of anything that looks unfamiliar to you so you can go check those things out too.
🔑 2. Focus on High-Impact Content
Don’t try to revise everything tonight. Focus on the areas you are most concerned about - that will be different
Use active techniques like blurting, flashcards, revision clocks or teaching it to a pet/sibling. But cap it at around 45–60 mins max - you want your brain switched on, not overloaded.

😌 3. Sleep Smart & Set Up for Success
You’ve done the work. Now make sure exam day starts smoothly:
Pack your clear pencil case, black pens, and water bottle tonight
Double-check your exam time and location
Go screen-free 30 mins before sleep - try a calm playlist or light revision podcast instead
Getting at least 7 hours of decent sleep helps everything: memory recall, focus, and avoiding silly mistakes.
