• One exam question (even if it’s just a 2-marker).

• Screenshot or jot down one “I don’t get this yet” to tackle next time.

Mocks aren’t “fake exams”; they’re dress rehearsals that can shape your predicted grades and sixth-form/university conversations. Use them to learn, not just to score:

• Sit some papers under timed conditions at home.

• Mark with the official mark schemes — learn the phrases examiners love.

• Catalogue errors: knowledge, technique, or careless. Fix the pattern, not just the question.
