A level homework booklet

Great resource but would prefer a printed copy or separate pdfs rather than one combined.

Useful addition to the exam board past papers

I bought the 2022 Predicted paper for Mechanics & Stats.

Overall, it was a useful addition to the past papers supplied by the exam board (EdExcel). It's a relatively new spec, so there were not actually that many board past papers to work with, and my son likes to do lots of past papers as prep for the real thing.

I don't know how accurate Primrose Kitten's prediction of questions was, as we have not tracked which actual questions came up. I can say that overall the level of challenge and the mark tarrif seemed about the same as EdExcel's.

There were two questions on the stats paper which I didn't think were well thought-through. We avoided them.

Also, the mark schemes seem to follow a general pattern of calling all marks A1M or A2M, instead of saying whether a mark was for A *or* M (as the EdExcel's mark schemes do). In some cases this made my life quite a bit harder when marking my son's answers, particularly when he chose an unexpected method (which he often does).

These two drawbacks aside, I consider the papers to have been good value for the money and for my son's time and my time in doing them and marking them, respectively.

Excellent practice questions. Good exam level. Similiar questions came up on actual.
