Invaluable last minute consolidation. All predicted papers have been spot on.
Thoroughly thought through - a lot of the predictions were correct because she had clearly done her research
Brilliant abundance of questions.
Done all past papers so very useful to have these resources to hand.
Thank you
The predicted papers were great and help to focus on topics you may be avoiding. These videos on YouTube were so helpful I subscribed to the Member channel to get more detail and work through papers live streaming. They were very, very helpful because they explain so clearly key terms, what the exam board wants to see in your answer and most importantly some common mistakes (so we don’t walk into those traps). Highly recommend all Primrose Kitten downloads and if you follow her checklists, videos and practice questions, and if you are consistent (ie keep doing the work little and often) you will surely get better grades. Her cheerful delivery is also really motivating.
Once again, very helpful and motivating materials from Primrose Kitten. This saved us! Clearly set out to match the exam board. Definitions very useful. Checklists very helpful. Top tip: get all the PK materials early and use those to learn the subject with the videos.
Many people were mad these weren’t fully accurate but they are not meant to be the exactly real exam - that isn’t very easy to predict sometimes because exam writers change what they want to heavily focus on. Nevertheless, this is very useful to practice which is what people should use them for instead of just relying on them. The main issue was the fact that there weren’t many practical questions especially in paper 3 which is a main focus of paper 3 so that should be added next time. Thank you for this resource.
One of the essay title was correct for paper 3. There was a question “what is a gene pool?” In the paper 3 predicted paper that came in paper 1 real exam. If you are to buy, then I would recommend to do all of the papers before your first Biology exam. The papers this year heavily focussed on immunity which was not predictable by anyone so use the papers as a guide to practice all the skills needed for the exam. The main issue I had was that the mark scheme didn’t allow for other responses that could easily fit the question so I think more answers to the same question which are equally acceptable should be included to avoid confusion.
The predicted paper serves as great practice for my son's GCSEs. Highly recommend it to anyone giving these exams. Looking forward to using this again for A-levels. Please keep up the excellent work.
