As your child prepares for their SATs, it's crucial to recognise signs of stress and anxiety. These emotions can affect their well-being and academic performance. Here's how to identify stress and anxiety in your child and steps to address them.
A personal note from Jen: you know your child best. For example, neither of my children mentions their worries until bedtime. I'm now more conscious of this and start a slightly earlier bedtime, particularly around stressful periods, or if I suspect something isn't quite right as I know, I can then ask them how they are feeling. If they are worried, as I know, I will have time to discuss them and sort it out before they go to sleep.
